The 18-year-old singer revealed he is often freaked out by the large crowds of girls waiting for the 'Don't Stop' hitmakers when they arrive at airports.
When asked to name his weirdest fan experience, speaking in Japan, he said: ''When there's a lot of fans in an airport and they're all trying... It gets quite intense sometimes. It's when there's a whole bunch of fans in one place.''
However, the boys enjoy being sent fun gifts by their followers and admitted they recently had a lot of fun after one fan sent them a headband adorned with party poppers to play with.
Ashton Irwin even shared a video of the group playing with the noisy toy on his mobile phone, while the boys cracked up as Luke described the bizarre gift.
He said: ''We got party poppers and a straw. There's three attached to your head and then you blow it.''
