50 Cent has stepped up his on-going feud with Interscope Records by threatening to leak Dr Dre's new single 'Psycho' on Friday (29th July 2011). The hip-hop star lashed out at the record label in a series of Twitter message, claiming he would also hold back his highly anticipated new album, reports the Hollywood Reporter.
The rapper, real name Curtis Jackson, is reportedly upset at the label for not giving him the same attention as Dr Dre. He took to Twitter early on Wednesday to vent his anger, saying, "I Love Dre but I'm putting his next single psycho out tomorrow at 2:00.Your gonna love it it's a big song I just don't think it deserves a great set up sense they can't seem to get it right when it comes to me". In a stinging attack on his record label, Jackson added, "Man I'm not releasing a album i can't believe interscope is this f*cked up right now. I apologize to all my fans", later accusing the label of leaking a song from his new album 'Black Magic'. He later told fans he had decided not to the leak the Dre single, because the music mogul had given him "nothing but help" throughout his career.
50 Cent, who recently signalled his intention to further his acting career, will appear as a police officer in the upcoming crime drama 'Freelancers'. His film credits include 'Righteous Kill' and 'Caught in the Crossfire'.
