50 Cent has revealed he wants to be a "better judge of character" in 2012.

The 'In Da Club' rapper - who has recently been in the studio with Lil' Kim - admitted he has "so many" New Year's resolutions in order to become a better person next year, including being more aware of himself.

He told MTV News: "Ah man, so many. So many new things to work on myself. I just got to be conscious, more conscious of myself. And try and be a better judge of character with others."

Gym Class Heroes singer Travie McCoy also wants to improve his life in 2012 and the life of his pals by making them all give up smoking.

He explained: "My New Year's resolution is to quit smoking ... it's a very dirty, filthy habit. But not [only] is it my New Year's resolution to quit, but it's also my New Year's resolution to get my friends to quit as well."
