Nick Lachey thinks his baby boy is growing up quickly.

The 98 Degrees singer - who has eight-month-old son Camden with his wife Vanessa Minnillo - has revealed the tot recently started crawling and is already getting into a lot of trouble around their home.

The 39-year-old singer told UsMagazine.com: ''The baby's growing up quick, starting to crawl and getting into all kinds of trouble and it's fun. It's fun being a dad. It's fun having a son and family life is great.''

Nick previously revealed that he and Vanessa are already thinking about having more children.

He said: ''I think we've talked about two more but if the next one is a girl it may be tempting to just have one of each. In a perfect world we'd have a couple of boys and then finish off with a daughter. If I can orchestrate that I'd be good.''

Nick was present for Camden's birth last September and he admitted seeing his son enter the world was one of the most incredible sights he had ever seen.

He added: ''I was [in the delivery room]. It was surreal but one of the coolest things to ever see in your life. You're there with the woman you love, she's giving birth to your child. It's a pretty magical thing.''

The singer - whose ex-wife Jessica Simpson is currently expecting her second child with fiance Eric Johnson - credits Camden for helping ''inspire'' his new album, 'A Father's Lullaby', as it gave him a way to release all his emotions connected to being a dad.
