Ashton Kutcher has become the 500th passenger signed up to take part on Richard Branson's revolutionary space flights. The Two and a Half Men actor received a call from Branson - the head of Virgin Galactic - to congratulate him for purchasing a ticket for the flight and Branson revealed "[Ashton] is as thrilled as we are at the prospect of being among the first to cross the final frontier (and back!) with us and to experience the magic of space for himself."
Like the other passengers waiting to be propelled to the final frontier, Kutcher will have had to pay a $20,000 deposit for the $200,000 flight ticket. This won't have caused too many problems for Ashton though, as ABC News reports that it's less than the 34 year old earns in a day, after signing his $15.4 million contract to replace Charlie Sheen in Two and a Half Men. There has been no date set just yet for the world's first ever commercial space flight but it is not expected to be until at least next year. Richard Branson is also quoted as saying ""I still sometimes have to pinch myself that it's for real. Ashton is joining a fast expanding group of true pioneers who are on their way to a life changing experience and a place in the history books. It's great to have him on board."
