For the second week in a row, an episode of ABC's Dancing With The Stars drew bigger ratings among overall viewers than either episode of Fox's American Idol -- the first time ever that Idol has lost two consecutive weeks to a rival regular series. Dancing 's Monday-night "performance" show attracted 21.21 million viewers, beating out Tuesday's edition of American Idol with 20.84 million and Wednesday's Idol with 20.17 million. All three shows, however, were topped by CBS's coverage of the NCAA basketball championship, which claimed 23.94 million viewers. CBS once again also dominated the remaining non- Dancing , non- Idol nights, with ABC able to place only two additional shows in the top 20, the "results" edition of Dancing , which came in at No. 12, and Castle at No. 17. Fox landed only one other show in the top 20 -- Bones at No. 19. NBC's highest-rated show was Law And Order SVU at No. 24.
