AC DC superfans are set to turn late singer BON SCOTT's Scottish birthplace into a pilgrimage site this weekend (08-10Jul11) to mark what would have been the singer's 65th birthday.
Scott was born in little Kirriemuir but moved to Australia when he was six.
Local promoters are staging Bon Fest on Friday and Saturday night (08-09Jul11) to cater for the gathering heavy rock fans, according to Scotland's Daily Record newspaper.
Scott fronted Ac Dc for six years from 1974 to 1980. He died of acute alcohol poisoning at the age of 33.
