Rocker Adam Levine has called on fans to donate money to the Red Cross to help the victims of an earthquake in Guatemala on Wednesday (07Nov12).
The Central American country was rocked by a 7.4-magnitude tremor, which has left at least 52 people dead and thousands without power.
Maroon 5 frontman Levine took to his Twitter.com page to appeal for donations to aid relief efforts, writing, "Guys, let's help raise funds for the Red Cross for those in need in the Guatemala earthquake."
After hearing the news, former Pussycat Dolls star Melody Thornton declared, "My heart goes out to the families and victims of today's earth quake in Guatemala."
