Adele has been buying second-hand furniture for her home.

The 'Skyfall' hitmaker may have a multi-million pound fortune, but she and partner Simon Konecki - who have seven-month-old son Angelo together - have been picking up bargains at a number of thrift stores to kit out the guest rooms at the property in Sussex, South England.

A source told The Sun newspaper: ''Adele is like any normal girl - she loves a bargain.

''She'd rather shop local, too, so these are the obvious places to go.

''She doesn't get bothered much where she's decided to live so she's got plenty of time to delve into whatever's in the shops.''

While she is saving money on furniture, Adele hasn't been afraid to splash the cash in buying other items for the house.

It was revealed last month she and Simon had splurged tens of thousands of pounds on two Andy Warhol butterfly prints, and were also planning to purchase creations by Damien Hirst and graffiti artist Banksy.

A source said: ''Adele and her partner Simon Konecki had the pair of prints delivered to their house in the past month.

''They're Warhol fans and the butterfly works are a good investment as well.

''The Warhols have already been hung in pride of place on the walls of the living room at the huge house.

''The couple are hoping to get more contemporary art for the walls to add to their collection, including paintings by Damien Hirst and Banksy.''

And the 24-year-old singer recently spent £15,000 on arcade machines - including classic 1980s games, Pac-Man and Space Invaders, as well as two pinball machines and a shooting game with two guns - for the house.
