Adele saw off competition from Lady GaGa to be named the best international female performer in pop at Germany's annual Echo Awards on Thursday (22Mar12).
The Rolling In The Deep sensation continued her trophy-winning streak by walking away with the prize for Best International Female, triumphing over Gaga, late star Amy Winehouse, Dutch jazz singer Caro Emerald and French sensation Zaz.
Bruno Mars went home with the Best International Male award, leaving Chris de Burgh, James Morrison, Lenny Kravitz and Belgian star Milow empty-handed.
German stars Ina Muller and Udo Lindenberg took the national awards for Best Female and Best Male.
The Best International Group honour went to British rockers Coldplay, while Red Hot Chili Peppers won the Rock/Alternative International award.
Michael Buble was named the Best Crossover National/International artist.
Katy Perry thrilled fans with an energetic performance of her new track Piece of Me, while Dionne Bromfield took to the stage as part of an international tribute to her godmother Winehouse.
