Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler joined a group of Christmas carol singers in Marshfield, Massachusetts at the weekend (26-28Nov10) to help ring in the festive season.
The rocker owns a home in the small town and he joined locals at the Humarock Holiday Stroll, a three-day event of holiday activities.
He also teamed up with Victorian Christmas carolers to sing a few holiday songs and spread the festive cheer, and the superstar admits spending time with family in Massachusetts keeps him grounded.
Tyler tells local radio station WATD-FM, "Anytime I can walk this way, I'm there. I came home for Thanksgiving for my dad. This is my solace, this is real to me... It can get real unreal... This is my grounding, I love it here, I love the smell of the sea air. You know, I get to be with family."
