Aerosmith rocker Joe Perry thanks his "good genes" and Portuguese heritage for his long career.
The guitarist turns 60 next year (10), but is showing no signs of slowing down - recently revealing the band will schedule another tour after a "breather" in 2010.
Revealing his secrets, Perry says, "You adjust. I don't do backwards somersaults anymore. But my playing is getting better. And I'm lucky to have some good Mediterranean genes."
The guitarist has also been given a boost after undergoing knee surgery in 2008.
Prior to the operation, the rocker revealed he had been playing through agony for three years after a stage fall in Dallas, Texas 23 years ago finally came back to cripple his ageing frame.
