Rapper Afroman has been forced to cancel upcoming dates on his U.S. tour in the wake of his stage clash with a female fan on Tuesday (17Feb15).

The Because I Got High hitmaker was performing in Biloxi, Mississippi, when a woman walked onto the stage, and when she approached him, the rapper suddenly turned to her and punched her in the face.

Afroman was subsequently arrested and later released from jail, and he has since issued an apology for his actions, and is planning to undergo anger management classes.

While his concert in Georgia on Wednesday night (18Feb15) went on as planned, bosses at three venues have decided to axe Afroman, real name Joseph Edgar Foreman, from their upcoming lineup.

According to Tmz.com, planned gigs in North Carolina and Ohio have reportedly been scrapped, with another still on the fence about inviting the rapper to the venue.

Afroman had seven more dates lined up for his tour in the coming weeks.
