Hardcore band Alexisonfire are embarking on a final tour as a farewell to fans.
The group announced its intention to split last summer (11) so the musicians could pursue individual ventures, but they are now preparing to stage a string of shows as a proper goodbye to their loyal following.
In a post on his Twitter.com page, guitarist Wade MacNeil, who replaced Frank Carter as the frontman of punk rockers Gallows, writes, "Seems like the cats out of the bag. Alexisonfire will do one final tour. In no way will this impact Gallows. Our new record is out in a few months and it will rip your face off."
