Ali Landry, the former Miss Usa winner best known for her Doritos 'Super Bowl' commercial, has given birth to her second child, 'Marcelo Alejandro'. Born on Saturday (8th October 2011) in Los Angeles, Marcelo joins the model's 4-year-old daughter Estela, reports E! Online.
The new arrival weighed in at 8 pounds and measured 21 inches, but the birth wasn't a total surprise to Ali's fans. The 38-year-old was sure to alert Twitter followers she had gone into labor, excitedly telling fans, "It's time!!! Headed into hospital now!!!!!!" Landry has been trading parenting tips with a celebrity set of mothers, including Alison Sweeney, Cameron Bure and actress Denise Richards, for an upcoming TV Guide series titled 'Hollywood Moms Club'. Landry married her second husband, film director Alejandro Gomez Monteverde, in April 2006. The couple tied the knot in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Ali was previous married to 'Saved by the Bell' actor Mario Lopez but she had the marriage annulled after just two weeks.
The model was named 'Miss Usa' in 1996, after entering the pageant as the reigning Miss Louisiana. In 1998, she was named one of 50 most beautiful people in the world by People Magazine.
