GRAMMY-winning soul sensation Alicia Keys chose dual locations for the upcoming video to her single KARMA - the Dominican Republic and a New York City subway station.
The 23-year-old FALLIN' singer shot the video over three days before jetting into Miami, Florida, for the MTV Video Music Awards at the end of last month (AUG04).
But Keys' subway performance proved to be particularly challenging.
Hairstylist NIKKI TUCKER, who spent six hours braiding Keys' hair - even as she slept - says, "It was Jamaica-hot down there! Alicia had to keep hopping on the air-conditioned train."
Keys' scene in the Dominican Republic's Altos De Chevon amphitheatre features a purple YAMAHA piano, which she plans to use when she performs at the Great Wall of China later this month (SEP04).
