Alicia Keys put back the release date of her latest album so she could include a duet with pal Beyonce.
The singer/songwriter had initially planned to release The Element of Freedom on 1 December (09), but earlier this month (Nov09), it was mysteriously pushed back to 15 December (09), and now Keys has explained why fans will have to wait two more weeks.
The album now features duets with Beyonce and newcomer Drake.
The Beyonce duet, Put It In A Love Song, was not featured in the initial release. Keys' duet with Beyonce's husband Jay-Z on Empire State of Mind is currently at number one in America.
Keys is going ahead with a World Aids Day (01Dec09) concert in New York, which was to coincide with the original release date. The event will be streamed live on YouTube.com.
