Eve wants to record her new album in the UK.

The 34-year-old rapper has only just released her fourth studio album 'Lip Lock' but is already looking to the future and has been inspired by British musicians since relocating to the UK, hoping to ''take advantage'' of the opportunities presented.

Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: ''I have been thinking about the next album because I live in the UK now. I definitely want to get producers or artists on board the next album and just take advantage of that, because the music scene in the UK I love.

''It's not one particular person [I love], I just think I love the music movement like Alphabeat and dubstep now is really hot - I just like all the different kinds of music movement.''

The 'Who's That Girl' hitmaker went independent with her own record label FTR Music - under Sony's umbrella - after encountering problems with her former representative Interscope Records and she enjoys the responsibility of calling the shots without being held back by anyone.

She added: ''It's been good [working on my own]. It's a lot of work, honestly it's a lot of work but at the same time it feels good as an artist to be able to kind of make the decisions on my own and not have to check in with people about who it is I want to work with at all so it's good.''

Eve went on the Gumball 3000 road trip, which is now in its 15th year and launched in Copenhagen, yesterday (19.05.13).
