Amanda Seyfried admits being chosen to star in Givenchy's Very Irrésistible fragrance ads has made her feel more confident and feminine.
Amanda Seyfried says becoming the face of Givenchy's Very Irrésistible perfume is a ''confidence boost''.
The 'Lovelace' actress was honoured to follow in the footsteps of Liv Tyler and be invited to star in the luxury brand's new advertorials, especially since she has a long-standing love affair with fragrances.
She told In Style magazine: ''I've always been sensitive to scent. When I go home to Pennsylvania I can still smell the incense coming from my sister's room and hot summer air in an old house.
''Fragrance changes my mood, so it's an honour to be the face of something as elegant as Givenchy's Very Irrésistible perfume. When I was a child I never imaged someone would want me to represent them; it's a confidence boost.''
The 27-year-old beauty is a fan of super feminine scents even though she describes herself as something of a tomboy.
Amanda added: ''Roses are my favourite flower - they're so fragrant. They make me feel feminine and I get some power from that; it offsets my tomboy nature.
''I don't feel chic very often, but I do when I wear Very Irrésistible by Givenchy because it smells grown-up.''
The star also confessed her best beauty tip is slathering on sweet-smelling coconut oil to make her skin softer.
She said: ''Right now I'm wearing coconut oil on my legs. A friend of mine uses it as moisturiser on her face so that's where I got the idea. It's really messy but it works.''
