Amanda Seyfried says her dog Finn is her ''other half'' and she insists she is not looking for a man at the moment.
Amanda Seyfried is committed to her dog.
The 'Les Miserables' actress is currently single and admits the attention her celebrity status attracts has put off looking for a man at the moment and she's happy for her pet pooch Finn to be the only guy in her life at the moment.
In an interview with Italian magazine IO Donna, she said: ''Passion doesn't always mean you have found a soul mate, but being a celebrity makes you stop wanting a relationship ... My private life gets treated like fiction. I'm committed to Finn, my dog, he's my other half.''
She explained: ''Red carpets are the most unnatural thing in the world. Having hundreds of people screaming your name. I always feel like I've done something wrong.''
The 27-year-old screen beauty will soon be seen portraying infamous porn star Linda Lovelace in biopic 'Lovelace'.
Amanda filmed the movie - which shows Linda's rise to X-rated stardom in 'Deep Throat' and her eventual escape from the clutches of her controlling and abusive husband Chuck Traynor - just before she started work on 'Les Miserables', in which she plays Cosette.
She said: ''We shot 'Lovelace' right before shooting 'Les Mis...'. I went from oral sex to playing a virginal and innocent angel in a few months.''
