Amanda Seyfried is still pining for her ex-boyfriend Dominic Cooper.

The actress split from her 'Mamma Mia' co-star last summer after two years together, and she admits she misses London and has found it hard coming to terms with life without the actor.

She said: "I miss London so much. Growing up and out of things, it's always . like. s***ty moving on. Changes are hard. I don't mind talking about him. It was a really great part of my life."

'Dear John' star Amanda accepts the distance between her and Dominic made their relationship difficult and she eventually became paranoid about what he was doing when he wasn't with her.

She added to Marie Claire magazine: "Never date somebody who doesn't live in your country. It's heartbreaking and confusing and makes you go a little bit nuts.

"You don't know where they sleep at night. You start second-guessing everything."

Amanda, 25, would reconcile with Dominic, 32, if they could overcome their problems, but when they first met on the set of 'Mamma Mia' in 2008 she wrongly assumed he was homosexual.

She added: "For some reason, I thought he was gay. I quickly learned he wasn't and I fell head over heels in love with him."

Amanda has been romantically linked to Ryan Phillippe in recent months, but she insists she is currently "woefully f***ing single".
