American Idol judge Paula Abdul has continued to hit back at rumours her TV bosses have ousted her from the hit U.S. singing competition - insisting she's been invited to remain on the show indefinitely.
The singer-turner-TV personality has yet to renew her contract since it expired last season, fuelling reports network executives want new judge Kara DioGuardi to replace her alongside judges Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson.
However Abdul insists executives are keen to keep her on the series as long as they can.
She says, "I've been invited to stay the duration of the show, however long it lasts."
