American Idol runner-up Clay Aiken has been voted the Best-Mannered Person
of 2003 by America's NATIONAL LEAGUE OF JUNIOR COTILLIONS.
The singer beat Oprah Winfrey and Iraqi war mastermind GEN TOMMY FRANKS to
head the 12th annual polite list.
Others on the 2003 list include teenage surfer BETH HAMILTON, who lost her
left arm in a shark attack, British Prime Minister Tony Blair, first lady Laura
Bush and Mel Gibson.
