Things aren't getting any better for Fox's American Idol. On Thursday it matched its series low with only 11.28 million viewers. The results episode at 8:00 p.m. was easily beaten by CBS's The Big Bang Theory with 16.79 million viewers in the first half of the hour and by CBS's Two and a Half Men with 13.58 million in the second half of the hour. Both CBS shows also dominated in the key 18-49 age group. On Wednesday, Idol drew its smallest audience for a performance episode -- 11.84 million viewers. Yet that was good enough to beat shows on the other networks, althoughCBS's Survivor challenged it with 9.14 million viewers at 8:00 p.m. and ABC's Modern Family and CBS's Criminal Minds did so with about 10.6 million viewers earch at 9:00 p.m. ABC's How to Live with Your Parents got off to a strong start at 9:30 p.m. with 8.36 million viewers.
