LATEST: EVANESCENCE star Amy Lee has fired back at claims she owes her former management company millions in unpaid commissions by alleging financial and sexual misconduct in a countersuit.

The singer filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday (07DEC05) against the band's former manager, DENNIS RIDER, charging "breach of fiduciary duty", sexual assault and battery, among other claims.

The suit, filed less than a week after Rider's commission claims, seeks unspecified damages, as well as punitive damages.

In her lawsuit Lee also wants Rider to reimburse her for "all unauthorised and excessive expenditures" he accumulated using her credit card.

The suit also claims Rider neglected the singer's career and business affairs while he focused his efforts on having extra-marital affairs and physically abusing women.

She claims Rider made repeated unwelcome sexual advances towards her - once telling her he wanted to "perform a gynaecological examination on her" - and used her credit card to buy gifts for his mistress.

Lee reveals she ended her business relationship with Rider last month (NOV05) because he had "engaged in a conflict of interest" by continuing to represent former Evanescence guitarist Ben Moody, her ex-boyfriend.

In a statement, Rider's lawyer BERT DEIXLER says, "Rider has always conducted himself by the highest professional standards and conducted his business relationships with Ms Lee in a transparent, appropriate and entirely legal fashion. That she would now suggest otherwise is appalling and untrue."
