Amy Winehouse's father Mitch made a red carpet fashion statement at the Brit Awards in London on Wednesday (20Feb13) by showing off a waistcoat emblazoned with his late daughter's face.

The singer, who passed away in 2011, made history at the awards show by becoming the first artist to be nominated posthumously for the Female Solo Artist Brit honour.

Arriving at the O2 Arena with Amy's mum Janis, the taxi driver-turned-cabaret singer took off his jacket to reveal the large image of his daughter on his back.

He revealed the waistcoat will be auctioned off at next month's (Mar13) Amy Winehouse Foundation Inspiration Awards and Gala in New York to benefit the Amy Winehouse Foundation.
