Brits nominee Amy Winehouse is to headline the popular LIVE FROM LONDON event in New York this March.
The event, which is produced and presented by British Underground, along with support from UK Trade and Investment and the London Development Agency, is an opportunity to create a "shop window" for British talent in the US.
And Winehouse, who is nominated for Best Album and Best Female Solo Artist at the Brit Awards next week, is topping the bill for the British music industry.
Other acts confirmed at the event include THE HOLLOWAYS and THE PIPETTES, with Sex Pistols manager MALCOM MCLAREN announced as master-class speaker.
The event aims to reflect a typical night out in London for both industry experts and audiences alike, meaning the whole city's night scene, not only musical artists, are being showcased.
Mayor of London KEN LIVINGSTONE said: "We are proud to be supporting Live From London.
"This is a great opportunity to showcase the enormous range of musical talent we have here in London."
He added that the event will also help musicians in the capital crack the international music arena, "demonstrating that London really is one of the world's most exciting creative centres".
