After two seasons of disappointing ratings, Anderson Cooper's syndicated talk show is being shut down after only two seasons. TheWrap.com, citing a Warner Bros. TV spokeswoman, said that the show will end its run after the current season. Criticized for becoming too trivia-filled, producers attempted to make it more attractive by distributing it as a live show and calling it Anderson Live! But it was soon dismissed as Anderson Light, with critics complaining that it appeared to be offering the same sort of lightweight content that a host of other talk-show hosts were dishing out. A spokeswoman told TheWrap.com, While we made significant changes to the format, set and produced it live in its second season, the series will not be coming back for a third season in a marketplace that has become increasingly difficult to break through.
