Angelina Jolie turned real-life heroine on Thursday (04Dec14) by helping to rescue a panicked fan from a crowd crush outside a Tv studio in New York.
The Maleficent star was signing autographs for the large crowd, which had gathered outside the Comedy Central studios after filming an appearance on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, when one devotee began screaming, claiming she was having a panic attack.
The actress/director noticed the commotion and called on her security guards to pull the girl out of harm's way, and then got down on her knees to check on the fan's wellbeing.
Jolie offered to sign her magazine memorabilia and even snapped a 'selfie' with the emotional girl, after wiping away her tears, before the superstar made her way to her waiting car.
