The actress teamed up with Britain's former Foreign Secretary on a number of initiatives as part of her fight to end sexual violence in war zones, including setting up the Global Summit to End Sexual Violence in Conflict, which was held in London last June (14).

Hague is set to step down from his role as a Member of Parliament (MP) after deciding not to contest his seat at the U.K.'s upcoming general election in May (15), but he has vowed to continue working with Jolie after giving up his political role.

He tells the London Evening Standard, "(I will be able to give my) constant attention (to the cause)... There's no limit on the amount of time. I'll be able to give more attention to this in the future than I was as Foreign Secretary but admittedly without all the advantages of being Foreign Secretary... It is too important to leave it. The momentum has to be maintained, and we have to show that it is possible to take action all over the world... Angelina has done so much. She is very, very knowledgeable about this. She is incredibly dedicated to the cause."
