Angelina Jolie has teamed with Robert Procop to create a new jewellery line.

The actress has designed a collection with statement stones for Robert Procop Exceptional Jewels and wore one of the pieces - a faceted black spinel necklace bezel set in rose gold - to the Berlin premiere of her film 'Salt' earlier this year.

Robert - a former Asprey's chief executive who has designed for the actress for 10 years - told WWD: "Angelina has very classic style. These are pieces she wears herself."

Pieces from the collection - which will be priced individually - will be sold privately through the designer's network of clients, with all proceeds going to the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, a charity co-founded by the 'Changeling' actress that aims to help children who are the victims of war and natural disasters.

Last year, Brad and Angelina created a gold and silver collection for upmarket jeweller Asprey, with all profits donated to the charity.

The capsule collection, entitled The Protector, also included baby gifts such as egg cups and silver spoons, and was inspired by snakes.

Speaking about the charity, Angelina said: "These are the children who most need a safe place to learn, a place to heal, a place to learn reconciliation, a place to build a better future and a place - to just be children. Yet the education for these children is often forgotten. Tens of millions of children and adolescents in conflict are not in school."
