Brad Pitt may have missed out on the Best Leading Actor award at the weekend's Screen Actors Guild Awards, but it seemed to scarcely matter to the 48 year-old star of 'Moneyball' as he looked more than content to be in the company of long-term partner Angelina Jolie. The pair were snapped by various publications sharing an intimate kiss at the ceremony - a public display of affection rarely seen from one of the world's most famous couples.

Pitt lost out on the award to Jean Dujardin, the French actor proving to be one of the darlings of this awards season alongside his starring film 'The Artist' and adding this latest achievement alongside his Golden Globe for Best Actor In A Motion Picture Musical or Comedy earlier this month. Yet the American actor and director seems more concerned with family matters at the moment, in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter he mooted the subject of marriage.

"We'd actually like to," said Pitt in reply to a question about whether he and Jolie would get hitched, "and it seems to mean more and more to our kids. We made this declaration some time ago that we weren't going to do it till everyone can. But I don't think we'll be able to hold out. It means so much to my kids, and they ask a lot. And it means something to me, too, to make that kind of commitment." Though he stopped short of saying that he'd proposed to her, it does seem that the pair seem very much in love with each other seven years on from first getting together.
