Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie is eyeing a career change - she is reportedly planning to swap life as a movie star for a role in politics.
The Tomb Raider star is a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations (UN) and spends much of her time championing the rights of refugees and dedicating herself to philanthropic activities.
Jolie is now reportedly looking to take her interest in humanitarian issues to the next level, with plans to quit acting so she can concentrate full time on her political ambitions.
A source tells Britain's Daily Express newspaper, "(She) has admitted she's getting bored with Hollywood. She said she's now got her sights set on Washington. She is passionate about people's rights, war and justice and thinks she can get more hands-on and make even more of a difference by getting into politics.
"She admires (U.S. President) Obama and thinks she could make a big difference if she were in his position. I would place a huge wager on her becoming the first female president in the next 20 years. She's very determined."
