Anna Paquin and husband Stephen Moyer are expecting twins, according to their True Blood co-star Sam Trammell, who plays Sam Merlotte in the vampire show. Sam is also the father of twins, and confirmed the news to US Weekly magazine.
Whether or not Merlotte was given permission to reveal the news remains to be seen, though he told the magazine, "I'm so excited for them. We sent them a special gift. It's so interesting that True Blood has become like, the 'twins' show". Asked what advice he would give Anna, 29, and Stephen, 42, Sam merely told them to "hold on tight", adding, "It's harder, having twins, but it's all we know. So we're trying to impart some decent wisdom. I told them to hold on tight". It'll be Paquin's first children, though Stephen already has two, Billy 12 and Lilac, 10, from a previous relationship. The couple first announced their engagement back in August 2009, though had been dating since filming the True Blood pilot in 2007. On August 21, 2010, Paquin and Moyer married at a private residence in Malibu, California, surrounded by close family and friends.
'True Blood' - one of the most popular series' on American television - began its fifth season on June 10, 2012. Paquin plays Sookie Stackhouse - a telepathic waitress with an otherworldly quality - while Moyer plays vampire Bill Compton.
