Anne Hathaway knew she would marry her husband if their first date went well and said she fell instantly in love with him
Anne Hathaway predicted she would marry her husband before their first date.
The 'Les Miserables' star - who married husband Adam Shulman in September after fours years of dating - claims she knew that if their first date went well, she would marry him.
She told 'The Late Show With David Letterman': ''I'm married to a nice guy, he's a producer and a jewellery designer. We met through friends.
''It was pretty instant, as soon as I met him I was like what is the deal with that guy, but someone told me had a girlfriend so I backed off. Then six weeks later I found out that he didn't have a girlfriend so I asked him to come to New Orleans with me. I had a spare ticket.
''I said if it goes badly we'll probably never see each other again, and if it goes well we'll probably get married.''
Anne brushed off new questions about her 25 pound weightloss for the role of Fantine in the movie.
When asked how she slimmed down, she said: ''Oh you don't want to know. It would make you worry. It wasn't so that Fantine would look hot... she dies. It was all to look like she had gotten really, really ill.''
Meanwhile, the actress accidentally flashed her genitals on the red carpet.
The brunette beauty gave fans and photographers an eyeful on when she climbed out of her limousine at the New York premier of her new movie 'Les Miserables' at the Ziegfeld Theatre in Manhattan last night (10.12.12).
The 29-year-old leading lady was caught out after the slit in her gothic Tom Ford black dress revealed she wasn't wearing any underwear.
But the newlywed star appeared to be completely unaware of her fashion faux pas as she continued to pose for pictures with her co-stars Amanda Seyfried, Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe.
