Rocker Anthony Kiedis found kicking his drug addictions particularly tough, because he couldn't accept they were ruining his life.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman insists acknowledging drugs are bad for you was the first, tricky step for him to take.

He says,"Drug addiction is a bizarre and cunning enemy. It doesn't really plug into logical reason. You can't just go, 'Okay this is bad, this kill, this hurts people and makes life miserable,' when you're in the throes of it."
