Arcade Fire, Pete Doherty and BOB DYLAN shared the spoils in the Mojo magazine 2005 Readers Poll, picking up two awards apiece.

Acclaimed Canadians Arcade Fire beat The Magic Numbers and Arctic Monkeys to Newcomer of The Year and also picked up Album of The Year honours for FUNERAL.

Doherty was named Unconscionable Rogue, ahead of Kiss rocker Gene Simmons, and his group Babyshambles were shamed as the Musical Lowpoint of The Year.

Meanwhile Dylan's No Direction Home was named Reissue of The Year and DVD of The Year. The DVD documentary was directed by Martin Scorsese.

Other winners in the Readers Poll, announced in the new issue of the music bible, include ANTONY + The Johnsons (Artist of The Year), THE White Stripes (Live Act of The Year) and Pink Floyd at LIVE 8 (Event of The Year).
