Echo And The Bunnymen star Ian Mcculloch joined Arcade Fire to perform at the Canadian band's show in London on Friday night (06Jun14).

The group played the first of two concerts at London's Earls Court venue ahead of their huge headlining gig at Glastonbury festival later this month (Jun14), and they thrilled the crowd by bringing out a special guest.

MCCulloch took to the stage with the group to perform his 1983 track The Cutter.

During the show, Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler also voiced his dismay at plans to demolish the Earls Court arena, which has previously hosted gigs by legendary artists such as Led Zeppelin and David Bowie, telling the audience, "We wanted to do (play at) Earls Court before they tear it down for condos. Get your bids in now. Hope they're cheap."
