Hollywood producer AVI LERNER has pleaded with Arnold Schwarzenegger to return to the big screen - in a remake of action classic Conan the Barbarian.
The filmmaker has offered the Terminator star the chance of a cameo role in a remake of the 1982 film that shot him to stardom.
But the musclebound actor, who is currently Governor of California, refused to commit to the idea.
Lerner tells Moviehole.net, "I told him we could even shoot the scene in Sacramento. He was smiling, but he didn't say yes. Maybe he can't take the money while he's still governor.
"That's OK, if he can't take the money, I'd donate it to a charity or give it to a school that needs the money... Don't worry - I'll approach him again. I don't give up that easily."
