Record industry insiders have voted Atomic Kitten the worst British group of last year (03).

The ETERNAL FLAME trio topped the poll of 100 music insiders at the second annual NAOMI AWARDS, named after supermodel Naomi Campbell's disastrous attempt at a pop career in 1994.

Elsewhere, troubled R+B star R Kelly was honoured with the award for worst international male singer, while Mariah Carey received the award for the worst international female singer.

Former FIVE hunk RICHARD 'ABS' BREEN was named worst British male singer and ex-HEARSAY singer Kym Marsh was singled out as the worst British female singer.

SIMON GEORGE from MUSIC CHOICE, who organised the survey, says, "There's a lot of talk about how music lacks integrity these days so it's great that those in the industry are willing to name and shame the worst protagonists."
