Avenged Sevenfold's NIGHTMARE has been named the best heavy rock album of 2010 in music magazine Revolver's end-of-year round-up.
The group, who lost drummer Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan at the end of last year (09), beat the Deftones, Fear Factory and Triptykon to the top of the rock pile in the new issue of the publication.
The Deftones' Diamond Eyes came in second, while Mechanize by Fear Factory was third.
Volbeat's Beyond Heaven/Above Hell, Option Paralysis by The Dillinger Escape Plan, Iron Maiden's The Final Frontier and Absolute Dissent by Killing Joke also made the top 10.
