Avicii has cancelled all of his upcoming gigs due to health concerns.

The 'Wake Me Up' hitmaker has confirmed through his spokesperson Tim Bergling that he's suspended all of his scheduled touring and promotional activities indefinitely.

The Swedish DJ had his gallbladder and appendix removed during routine surgeries earlier this year but has been suffering from lingering health issues ever since.

He was forced to cancel his headline slot at the 2014 Ultra Music Festival as well as his Las Vegas residencies during the month of April while he recovered from the operations and is now being forced to take more time out from his touring duties.

Avicii will now miss all of his upcoming gigs - including his September residencies at Las Vegas hotspots XS The Night Club at Encore and the Encore Beach Club and his tour of Asia, which was scheduled for October.

The 25-year-old star will return to his native Stockholm to recuperate until he's recovered the strength and physical well being necessary to resume work on his second artist album next year, Billboard reports.
