Adele dressed up as George Michael for her 27th birthday.
The 'Rolling In the Deep' hitmaker celebrated the milestone yesterday (05.05.15) and revealed she marked the date by donning the convincing costume in a bid to emulate her ''hero''.
Along with a picture of her dressed up as the 'Faith' singer, she wrote on Twitter: ''Thank you for the birthday wishes I had a wonderful time! I was my hero x #gottahavefaith (sic).''
In the photobooth snap, the star is seen wearing aviator sunglasses and even sports dark facial hair to look like George, who presented her with the BRIT Award for Best Album back in 2012.
The post comes almost exactly a year after the 10-time Grammy Award winner hinted she would be releasing an album imminently, by suggesting '25' could be her next LP, following on from 2008's '19' and 2011's '21'.
On the eve of her 26th birthday (04.05.14), she wrote: ''Bye bye 25... See you again later in the year x (sic).''
However, the 'Skyfall' singer - who has two-year-old son Angelo with her partner Simon Konecki - is yet to announce a new record, although her highly-anticipated third album is reportedly now scheduled to be released in September.
Last week a source said: ''The album is currently scheduled for release in September. The most recent plan was for it to hit shops before the summer but that's now been scrapped. Adele's taking her time to make sure the album is perfect and doesn't want to compromise.''
