Bahamas Release The Single 'I Got You Babe' And Announce UK Tour

'I Got You Babe' The New Single Released 25th March 2013 Taken From The Critically Acclaimed Album 'Barchords'

** Headline London Show: Bush Hall, Tues March 26th **

Bahamas new single 'I Got You Babe' (not a cover of the Sonny & Cher Karaoke classic) rides along on an inventive, infectious guitar riff, with Afie Jurvenen's languid vocals providing the perfect contrast. 'I Got You Babe' is taken from the acclaimed album 'Barchords'.

Bahamas is the pseudonym of Toronto-based singer-songwriter-guitarist Afie Jurvanen, who spent three years as guitarist/pianist for Feist. In 2012 Bahamas supported Noah & The Whale on both their US & UK tours, and performed two sold-out London dates at St Pancras Old Church. Bahamas return to the UK in March with headline shows in London, Manchester and Bristol, details below.

Despite his tropical pseudonym, Afie (pronounce AY-fee) isn't from the Caribbean, but from Barrie, a working-class town in rural Ontario. 'Barchords' is the follow up to his acclaimed Canadian/US release 'Pink Strat' (2009), which received a Juno nomination (Canadian Grammy equivalent) and was nominated for the 2010 Polaris Music Prize (Canadian Mercury Prize equivalent).

Bahamas in UK:
March 24th Manchester, The Castle
March 25th Brighton, The Green Door Store
March 26th London, Bush Hall
