President Barack Obama appears to have sparked a mini feud with cast members of the reality show Keeping up with the Kardashians, after declaring he doesn't like the hit E! programme. The First Lady recently announced her husband is less than impressed when their two daughters tune into the show.
Speaking during an interview with iVillage, the First Lady discussed her home life with the President and their daughters Sasha and Malia. When the subject turned to the Kardashians, Mrs Obama explained, ".when they watch that stuff - he doesn't like that as much". According to TMZ.com, the Kardashians were "surprised" by the news, given Obama personally told Khloe he thought the show was "great" when they met at the White House last year. A source close to the family said the Obama girls could "learn" something from the show, because is features young women in real-life situations, facing real-life problems. Despite the comments, reality star Rob Kardashian says he is unfazed, telling Ellen Degeneres, "Obviously someone's watching in that White House. But no, to each his own. I understand he's trying to raise his daughters a certain way and that's fine. Everyone has an opinion".
Rob, currently competing on Dancing With The Stars, also claimed the Obamas could take some educational value from the hit series, saying, ".you really learn a lot from our show. There are no negative things on our show. There is always a positive message at the end of the day. But, Go Obama!"
