King was treated by doctors after his daughter Patty filed a police report when her father's longtime manager, Laverne Toney, allegedly refused to take him to get help when the 89 year old's urine turned orange.

Responding officers agreed the guitar great was not well and called paramedics to his residence. They in turn determined King may have suffered a minor heart attack and was dehydrated.

The singer/songwriter was admitted to the hospital for tests and released hours later on Thursday evening.

King, who was also hospitalised at the beginning of April (15), took to his Facebook page on Friday (01May15) to let fans know he was going to be fine.

His note read: "A Message From B.B.: 'I am in home hospice care at my residence in Las Vegas. Thanks to all for your well wishes and prayers'."
