Rapper Beanie Sigel's sentencing date for tax evasion has been postponed until July (12) because of an alleged discrepancy in his finances.
Sigel, real name Dwight Grant, was accused of owing $350,000 (£219,000) in back taxes from earnings between 2003 and 2005, and last summer (Jul11) he pleaded guilty to a charge of failing to report his $1.5 million (£1 million) income.
The hip-hop star was due to face sentencing at a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania court on Thursday (12Apr12) but a judge pushed back his hearing until 12 July (12) after Internal Revenue Service agents filed new claims, alleging Grant actually owes upwards of $750,000 (£468,750).
He now has until 26 April (12) to surrender additional financial documents in a bid to solve the dispute.
If convicted, Grant faces up to three years behind bars, according to AllHipHop.com.
