A rare photograph of The Beatles crossing Abbey Road in the opposite direction is hitting the auction block.
The image, taken by Yoko Ono's photographer pal Iain MACmillan, is expected to fetch as much as $16,000 (£10,000) when it goes under the hammer at Bloomsbury Auctions on 22 May (12).
It was one of six photos taken during the 10-minute shoot that produced the iconic image that went on to become the cover of the band's 1969 album Abbey Road.
The snap shows the Fab Four walking the legendary London crossing from right to left. Sir Paul MCCartney is also wearing sandals, whereas he is barefoot on the record cover.
