Ailing Bee Gees star Robin Gibb has been forced to communicate by blinking as he continues to battle cancer.
The singer, who came out of a 12-day coma last month (Apr12), has not spoken for a week after doctors placed a tracheotomy tube in his neck.
He has resorted to 'speaking' to his wife Dwina and sons Robin-John and Spencer by moving his eyelids, according to Britain's The Sun.
A source tells the publication, "His mind is sharp as a tack but his body seems to be failing. But Robin will not give up. And Dwina is determined he continue treatment."
Gibb faces further chemotherapy once he regains strength. The 62 year old has been hospitalised in London since contracting pneumonia during his long-running fight against liver and colon cancer.
