Late Bee Gees star Robin Gibb is raising money for a war memorial from beyond the grave - his family has donated the proceeds from his final recording to the monument.
The singer, who lost his battle with liver and colon cancer last month (May12), was a keen supporter of Britain's armed forces and led the campaign for a Bomber Command Memorial to honour members of the airborne division who battled Germany in World War II.
Queen Elizabeth II unveiled the monument at London's Green Park on Thursday (28Jun12), and it has emerged Gibb is still helping to contribute to the fund with the profits from his track Don't Cry Alone, from the Titanic Requiem he completed before his death.
